What should I program next?

1. A mass-mailer?

2. An autoresponder?

3. YMailer?

4. GMailer?

5. Or a program that have something to do with Facebook?

A friend of mine asked me to create a Forex Bot for him. Well, this is something new for me. A program that can generate money. Just hit the start button, sit back, and let it start printing money. Sounds more like a hoax, but there are some out there that really works.

With so limited time and resource, which one should I program?

Free Mailer Software would be very useful for all the internet marketers, a software that automatically updates Wall status on Facebook would be useful for spammers, and the Forex bot is also worth considering.

Need to find the time to do all that by myself. It would be great if I had a team. :)

Free Icon Creator - Imagicon

I'm no graphic designer. That's why I use this tool to create an icon for my proggies and web favicons. Before I found this tool, I used to create icons using VisualStudio. And when I submit my work to my customer, the first feedback I will get is, "I don't like the icon! Change it" :P

Imagicon from DeviousCodeWorks is a small program that converts JPG,BMP,PNG image files into ICO image. Yes, it's FREE.

So what I normally do is, I open up Google Image Search and start looking for something that will suit my "Icon Design" task. After I find the image that i want, I will do a bit of editing using Paint.Net and save it as JPG. Finally, just drag and drop on to Imagicon.

Monitoring your PC connections with TCPView.exe

Is your antivirus or firewall really doing it's work securing your PC?

With today's growing numbers of hackers and virus writers, it's really hard for the antivirus guys to keep up. Hmmmm, Some say that these guys wrote the virus themselves so that they can sell their products.

If you are using the internet as a business platform, you might want to read on.

Here I'm going to show you this program, TCPView. You can download it here for free here at Microsoft Technet.

I normally use this program to debug my client/server programming projects. It shows which process on your computer is connected to what. But can be used for other purposes such as monitoring trojan viruses activites!

How to monitor by using this program?

Take a look at what process is running. You can see some of the process showing a familiar looking icons.

Here what you should do.
1. Ignore looking at the common process names, such as thunderbird, firefox, chrome: etc.
2. List down the unknown process to you such as, svchost.exe or avp.exe, which do not show any icons.
3. Then make a Google search for the processes or for any that you don't know.

If Google's result is showing that the program is a background process for Windows, then you should be safe. Otherwise, if Google result is showing links from antivirus websites or links to hackers websites, then you should be very afraid right about now, because someone is spying on you and you didn't know about it.
